Recently, the Crossroads Community Hub received a visit from the Lord Mayor of Chester, Cllr Sheila Little. She popped into the Meeting Place Community Cafe on a Friday morning.
Sheila has been a key supporter of the Hub right from its beginning when she advised on how we should set up the Emergency Food Parcels during the first lockdown of the Covid pandemic. Sheila is a trustee of our close friends at the Blacon Beacon and her experience with this initiative has been so helpful as we have consolidated and then developed the activities of the Hub.
We are thrilled that as the Lord Mayor of Chester, we have been chosen as one of her local charities that she is supporting.
