Due to some extra funding secured recently including a grant from the Cheshire Community Foundation we are looking to recruit for 2 part time posts that could be rolled up together for an initial 6 month contract.
Session Support Worker
This person would work with our Project manager is running the sessions we are open and to help us expand by adding an extra session where we would be open to welcome people to our community café – The Metting Place Café and to support those in need of emergency food and clothing.
Development Worker for the Greenway Grocer
This person would help the Project Manager to develop the idea of affordable fruit & veg by partnering with schools & other organizations.
Both jobs are for 11hrs each with an hour rate of £11 and are complimentary to one another so can be undertaken by the same person.
This would be our ideal but we are open to 2 individuals undertaking these 2 posts separately.

HBC Chester (www.hbc.org.uk) is the lead partner of CC Hub and we have 5 other partners helping us deliver our mission statement. As such you will be employed by HBC Chester who will deal with payroll and policy and procedures accompanying this role. You will also receive holiday allowance of 25 days (pro rata).
The start date is early November 2023 – initial 6-month contract to 30 May 2024.
